GVRL (pw hint: zipcode) 900+ encyclopedias and reference eBooks that have been added to our library collection!!! These books can be accessed via the internet using a school computer or any web accessible device at home! The books can be viewed by a wholeclass simultaneously. We own them, but they do not take up space in our library.
GVRL includes a citation maker, so making a Works Cited page is a breeze! Find "Teacher Prepared GVRL Reading Lists" on this wiki's Teacher Resource page. Ask Ms. Wood for help using this fantastic, new resource.
EBSCO (un hint: town and pw hint: zipcode)
Search 100s of magazines and newspapers to find articles for your research projects. EBSCO also helps create citations! See Ms. Wood for user name and password. After you open EBSCO, open "All Ebsco Resources from NHewLink." Try searching in Masterfile Premier, Newspaper Source, and Academic Search Premier (best option for scholarly journal articles). Online Newsstand and NoveList are also part of EBSCO.
